RodentPlus Conservation Initiative

Where Nature, Animals, and People Thrive Together

RodentPlus Conservation Initiative (RodentPlus) is a multidisciplinary nonprofit advancing Biodiversity Conservation, Animal Welfare, and One Health. We work across research, community engagement, policy advocacy, and capacity building to ensure healthy ecosystems, humane treatment of animals, and safer human–animal–environment interactions.

Welcome to RodentPlus

Every species — no matter how small—plays a vital role in sustaining life on Earth. RodentPlus bridges science and society to conserve wildlife, promote animal welfare, and protect public health.

ABOUT US

RodentPlus Conservation Initiative (RodentPlus) is a non‑governmental, non‑profit organization committed to conserving biodiversity, improving animal welfare, and protecting public health through the One Health approach. We place special emphasis on rodents and other small mammals groups that are ecologically vital yet frequently misunderstood and neglected in conservation planning.

Our work integrates scientific research, education, community engagement, and advocacy to deliver practical, locally relevant solutions that benefit ecosystems, animals, and people.

Mambilla Plateau Small Mammal Ecology & Conservation

This project conducts baseline surveys, habitat suitability modeling, and threat assessments to inform evidence-based conservation strategies. We aim to understand species richness, distribution patterns, and ecological requirements of small mammals in montane landscapes.

Landscape Ecology & Biodiversity Monitoring

We analyze land use changes, climate impacts, and habitat connectivity to support ecosystem management. This includes GIS mapping, remote sensing, and field verification to assess biodiversity integrity across landscapes.
